Overview:

The 3DMX-opto pcb is a compact (2.50” x 3.30”) 3 channel DMX-512 dimmer

trigger card. This device is capable of directly driving single Triacs and SCR

pairs with 3 optically isolated outputs. This card is intended for use in upgrading

existing non-DMX dimmers or for creating new custom DMX dimmers with

outputs of up to 100Amps per channel.

Technical Data:

· 3 channel opto outputs can drive triacs and SCR pairs - up to 500ma gate

drive per channel = can drive big 100Amp devices or small 1Amp devices.

· USITT 1990 DMX-512 compatible at full data rate.

· each card is addressable to start on any of 512 DMX channels in blocks of 3.

· 8 bit resolution (=256 steps).

· square law or linear dimming curves available.

· lamp preheat saves bulb life.

· LED indicator displays whether power and valid DMX is present.

· screw terminals for input and output connections.

· power requirement: 10 -12Vac 1Amp transformer (one transformer powers

up to 10 - 3DMX-opto cards.).

· Non-Dim and custom versions available.

· available as circuit boards or as finished dimmers.
