3DMX-SSR PCB Specification
sheet Revised 2006
Overview:
The 3DMX pcb is a compact
(2.20” x 2.50”) 3 channel DMX-512 dimmer trigger
card. This device is capable
of directly driving solid state relays such as Crydom
D2410-10 (10Amp), D2425-10
(25Amp), D2450-10 (50Amp) or D2490-10
(90Amp). Other types of solid
state relays can be used as long as they are DC
input 5volt compatible and
are the random turn on type.
The 3DMX pcb is a low voltage
class 2 device and therefore does not require any
CSA approval or special
inspection. This card is intended for use in upgrading
existing non-DMX dimmers or
for creating new DMX-512 custom dimming systems.
Technical Data:
· 3 channel PWM outputs can
drive solid state relays directly (up to 4 solid state
relays per channel).
· USITT 1990 DMX-512
compatible at full data rate.
· each card is addressable to
start on any of 512 DMX channels in blocks of 3.
· 8 bit resolution (=256
steps).
· 5 volt solid state relay
power supply on board each card.
· square law or linear
dimming curves available.
· lamp pre-heat that saves
bulb life.
· LED indicator displays
whether power and valid DMX is present.
· screw terminals for input
and output connections.
· power requirement: 10
-12Vac 1Amp transformer (one transformer powers up to
10 - 3DMX cards.).
· Non-Dim and custom versions
available.
· available as circuit boards
or as finished dimmers.
· full technical support and
design assistance is available.
