The McIntyre's named the company after Deanna's deceased mother, Luella in 1994, the year the company was formed.
Bruce and Deanna are avid boaters and fishermen and regularly cruise the Squamish area, Sunshine coast and Northern Vancouver Island where they have a 2nd home in Port McNeill.
Both Bruce and Deanna are amateur radio enthusists as well (callsigns VE7MBW and VA7MDM) and they "work" the world from their shop radio station and from their boat "JANNA".
